Labor marketplace for hourly workers in the restaurant industry, a major segment of the 78 million US workers engaged in hourly work. B2B and B2C.
We initially built a backend and apps (iOS, Android) that allowed employers to post shifts and workers to pick up shifts, then iterated from this core function to build exactly the product that users wanted. We built a relevance matching engine, a notifications and alerts system, a reputation and reliability system, a system for same-day payments, group messaging capabilities, and a scheduling system. We drove success at five of the top-20 US restaurant franchises, including McDonalds. Investors:
